Recognition by Professional Bodies As KDU is committed to satisfying total requirements of our customers through quality training and education services, it ensures that its qualifications and assessments are accredited, relevant and recognised. Government bodies, the industry, university partners and global professional bodies have long recognised the quality of KDU's programmes. Accreditation is a required procedure that KDU conforms to standards set by institutions, one of which is the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, which ensures that programmes meet or exceed the quality standards. Students have transferred to prestigious universities abroad seamlessly and many KDUvers have been offered employment before graduating reflecting the high regard corporations have of KDU qualifications and the character of KDU graduates.
Quality Assurance KDU's quality assurance of programmes are enhanced by its compliance with both the Malaysian and international accreditation and professional bodies, which are: Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) MQA's code of practice is benchmarked against international good practices and whose criteria and standards for higher education in Malaysia have, through consultations, been accepted by its stakeholders. Through its two-pronged processes of Provisional Accreditation (a process which helps higher education providers achieve accreditation) and Accreditation (the formal recognition of certificates, diplomas and degrees awarded by higher education providers), MQA assures that the standards and quality of programmes are achieved. |
