Venue : Taman Negara, Pahang, Malaysia
No expectations. That was the mindset of 33 Dip IHTM, BA IHTM and Dip PCT students, who were about to embark on a 3 day 2 night trip to Taman Negara, Pahang, accompanied by 3 lecturers. As most of the students were new to exploring the wilderness and outdoor adventures, this trip took them by surprise, as they did not expect nature to provide such an above average degree of enjoyment.

A treat for staffs and hats off to our lecturers as KDU celebrates Teachers Day |

It was a special day for all KDU staffs and its lecturers as they were treated to a sumptuous buffet lunch, a celebration in conjunction with Teacher’s Day. Like a beacon of light guiding and moulding students to shape their future, Dr.Chong Beng Keok, Principal of KDU College extended her gratitude to all teachers for their support, devotion and contribution to the development of the society.

Get it out! Spotlight on Obesity in conjunction with KDU’s Nurses’ Day Celebration |

The weekend at KDU College was bustling with activities as its first ever wellness and beauty fair brought hundreds of visitors including nurses to take part in various activities in the two-day celebration in conjunction with Nurses' Day on the 12th and 13th May. Guest of honour at the event, YB Ng Wei Aik arrived to a rousing welcome as Dr Chong Beng Keok; Principal of KDU College greeted him amidst loud hip-hop music against a sea of aerobic dancers doing their exercise at the concourse area. A few spectators quickly put on their dancing shoes and joined the crowd as they begun line dancing.

Chefs Cook for Charity in Conjunction with World Children's Day
Date: 30 October 2011
Venue: Golden Sands Resort Penang
It was a memorable day for Diploma in Professional Chef Training students as they participated and assisted with this event. Organized by St. Nicholas in collaboration with the Chef's Association of Malaysia (Penang Chapter), this charity event was held to raise RM100,000 for the renovation of the dormitory of the deaf blind children of St. Nicholas Home. This Charity Food Fair was held at the Golden Sands Resort in Batu Ferringhi from 9am until 4pm. The Chefs and students cooked many different dishes from all over the world for this event. Students also performed a 'kitchen stomp' for the opening act.
