KDU Penang University College Secures the two Fundamental Research Grant Scheme 2019-Phase 1


 
KDU Penang University College has managed to obtain RM184,900.00 worth of research grant from the ministry of education under the 2019 Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS), phase 1. The project entitled “Mechanism study of the tribological effect of nanoparticles as lubricating oil additives for biodiesel” by Dr. How Heoy Geok from the Department of Engineering has managed to obtain RM 107,200 while Dr. Joshua Thomas from the Department of Computing has received RM 77,700 for his research entitle “Intelligence-based Algorithm to generate focused molecule structure for immunopathogenesis allergy drug”.

KDU Penang University College would like to congratulate Dr. Joshua Thomas and Dr. How Heoy Geok as well as their team of researchers and the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI) for their hard work in securing Malaysia’s most challenging research grant.
