 KDU Penang Hostel is complete with accommodation facilities for both local and international students. KDU Hostels are located within walking distance from KDU Penang College.
The hostels are furnished, well-maintained and equipped with the necessary amenities. While residents are responsible for the cleanliness of the premises, professional cleaners are engaged for thorough weekly cleaning. Hostel apartments are also provided with 24-hour security services to ensure residents'safety. Facilities avaliable in KDU apartments are : a central kitchen, dining hall, games area, laundry room with washing machines, a common TV room and study rooms.
Inside KDU Penang Hostel
There are different of types of rooms available, which are: single, twin-sharing, triple-sharing or quadruple-sharing. The monthly rental rates would depend on the type of room chosen (single occupancy, twin-sharing, triple-sharing or quadruple-sharing) and how well-furnished the room is.

- Students are not guaranteed a place until and unless informed by SSD.
- Students may specify room preference, but allocations of rooms will be subject to availability.
When a student's application is accepted by SSD, you are advised to bring some of your personal items such as:
- Bedding materials
- Toiletries
- Floor mat
- Washing detergents
- Cutlery, eg, fork, spoon, plate, cup, etc
- Dried foodstuff like instant noodles, biscuits, snacks and pre-packed beverages
The above items are also sold at nearby shopping complexes. Residents staying in the same house may make their own arrangement to share cooking utensils, TV or radio sets.
