KDU College Penang was abuzz when 117 students from 6 different schools in Penang visited the college to attend its annual SPM Examination Techniques Workshop on 26 October recently.

The workshop which was organized by KDU's Centre for Pre-University Studies enticed students from Methodist Girls School, St Xavier's Institution, SMK Air Itam, Convent Light Street, Convent Pulau Tikus and SMJK Chio Min who came over to the institution's purpose build campus in Jalan Anson to further prepare themselves for their upcoming SPM examinations in November 2013.

Mr Low Chee Soon, Senior Lecturer for KDU's Centre for Pre-University Studies conducted the first session of the workshop which focused on Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning for SPM Additional Mathematics while Ms Geethaletchmi, a lecturer for KDU's Centre for English Language guided the students on Techniques in Directed and Continuous Writing. Both lecturers pointed out useful reminders for the students such as the careless errors which students normally commit during examinations which would normally cause unnecessary marks deduction in their papers.
