It is an event organized by the Year Two Communication and Public Relations students of Northumbria University- KDU College Penang, and is supported by Penang State Government.

This event aims to promote Penang as a state with different cultures and to expose the local and international community residing in Penang about the various cultures that are available in Malaysia. Besides that, the event also aims to foster a deeper understanding of other cultures in the Asian region such as Indonesia, Thailand, Japan and Korea amongst the local community in Penang.

According to the Project Director, Khoo Kay Min, the main activities of this event include cultural handicrafts and clothing display, Malaysian traditional games as well as a variety of Asian cuisine.

Principal of KDU College Penang, Dr. Chong Beng Keok who launched the opening ceremony of the event said that, "Culture is important to us because culture spans across ages, and it is passed on from generation to generation. Each culture has its own significance, as it is the identity of an individual. Culture too, forms bonds amongst individuals in a society as they share common beliefs."

"We should be proud of our culture and embrace not only our own culture, but respect and embrace the culture of another. As said by a famous Indian philosopher and activist- Mahatma Gandhi, 'No culture can live, if it attempts to be exclusive'." Dr. Chong added.

PARAZEE had everyone grooving around with the infamous Kpop dance – Fantastic Baby & Oppa Gangnam Style. Cultural dance was proudly performed by PARAZEE as well.

This event is proudly sponsored by CYW Group, Hotel Royal, Tong Pak Fu, Limitless Resources Sdn. Bhd., Jazzy Group, KY Digital, Goodrich, MBF Cards and McDonalds.
