KDU University College Penang organises “Running Man” and “The Amazing Race” inspired event

Fans of hit reality television programmes “The Amazing Race” and “Running Man” were in for a treat as KDU University College Penang (KDU College) is organised the “12 Hour Heritage Challenge” on 14 November 2015, an outdoor games event inspired by the two popular series. The challenge aims to promote a healthy lifestyle while giving the opportunity for participants to explore Penang’s UNESCO Heritage Site. YB Danny Law, Penang State EXCO for Tourism Development officiated the event.

Organised by students from KDU College’s School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts, the event saw participants forming teams of five persons each and the Top 10 teams which progressed into the second round to vie for the grand prize of RM1500.

KDU College was the starting point of the race while teams compete against each other as they make their way through Penang’s UNESCO Heritage trail in George Town before making their way back to KDU to cross the finish line.
