Are you a KDU Mass Comm-er? Established in late 2002, the KDU Mass Communication Department has certainly grown into a premier household name in providing Mass Communication studies for students of Penang and northern Malaysia. Originally known as the Centre for Performing Arts and Mass Communication, the department ran its 1st intake in January 2003 and has since produced over 207 graduates who are now working with various established media organizations in Malaysia.
Known for their 'work hard and play hard' motto, the department is famous for its vibrant, eloquent and creative students who stand head and shoulders above other mass communication graduates in country.
Famous for its wide foreign articulation, facilities and industry network, it also has a lot of experienced, long serving lecturers who are responsible for producing its exciting graduates.
The department is most famous for its Diploma in Mass Communication program and a lot hype is now going around for the soon to be offered UK Northumbria University 3+0 Bsc. in Communication & Public Relations degree program. Its alumni have one common thing to say – You don't know mass communication until you do it with KDU!
