Gen Y leadership starts here at the upcoming International Student Conference 2013!

An event created by students for students, KDU's Student Council will be organizing an inaugural International Student Conference (ISC 2013) on the 10th – 12th of October 2013 at Traders Hotel, Penang.

Aptly themed "Tomorrow's Leaders" to inspire the youths of today, the objectives of this conference are to inspire youths on their power in shaping the future, creating a new milestones in youth development, exploring the unthinkable future and new perspectives and to serve as a platform for youths to voice out their dreams and thoughts for the future.

 Manager of KDU's Student Service Department, Ms Joey Phuah hopes that this conference will inspire more youths to take charge of their future. "This is your best opportunity to gain new insights and work-out something from your own inspiration to impact the community. The forums discussed during the conference will also benefit the participants as they prepare candidates for the realities of the work force", she further said.

The organizing committee is expecting around 350 participants from various universities and colleges from Malaysia and abroad from countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Brunei.

The highlight of the event will be the series of inspiring talks by prominent and respected leaders of both the corporate and academia world to share their knowledge and experiences to the future leaders of tomorrow. Presenters will speak on a range of topics such as "How to survive in the 21st Century", "Leadership and Innovation" and many more. The conference stage is also open for students to have their voices heard on today's socioeconomic issues. There will also be concurrent sessions headed by guest speakers and students. In addition to that, participants will also get the opportunity to network with various stakeholders around the world.
