- Graduates from this programme may register with the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK to work towards the registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer under the Engineering Council, UK.
- Graduates from this programme may further their study in the master by coursework in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering in order to register with the Board of Engineers Malaysia to work towards the Professional Engineers status which carry the title of Ir.

• Advance standing for those transferring from other degree/diploma programmes is subject to approval from Northumbria University.
• The accreditation of all 3+0 B.Eng. (Hons) programmes are done by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) and not Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC). Hence, the 3+0 B.Eng. (Hons) programmes are not recognised by Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). In order to register as Graduate Engineer with BEM, graduates from the 3+0 programmes have to top up their study with a master degree by instruction (master by coursework) in the relevant field from accredited universities/institutions.
