Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Electrical is the branch of engineering science that studies the uses of electricity and the equipment for power generation and distribution as well as the control of machines. Meanwhile, Electronics is the branch of engineering science that uses scientific knowledge of the behaviour and effects of electrons to create components (capacitors, diodes, resistors and transistors), devices, systems or equipment that use electricity as part of their source of power.

Why study Electrical & Electronic Engineering?
Electrical and Electronic Engineering is in every industry; from mobile phones to missile defence systems and all digital electronics in between, electrical and electronic engineers play a crucial role in the development of anything that requires a plug or battery.

In general, Electrical and Electronic Engineering creates advanced technologies and software to:
  • Power the world
  • Enable human being to enjoy the life style in the modern world
  • Connect systems and human being wired and wirelessly
  • Sustain the development
  • Investigate the new research areas
Accredited by the Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA) and recognized by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA), the BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering course will provide you with all of the skills and knowledge required to pursue a career in this diverse industry as well as further study.

Thanks to the advancements in technology, graduates are in high demand globally meaning there has never been a better time to enter the industry.

This excellent programme also incorporates an internship and specialisation in the final year to give you the edge in your career.
