KDU offers students the opportunity to take the Cambridge A Level Course in Penang, Malaysia through our Penang Campus. Based on the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) syllabus, the A-Levels is one of the most sought after and common foundation programmes. The programme functions as an entry pass for students to further their studies into the various undergraduate fields such as engineering, health science, law and more.
 
Strong fundamental knowledge is important regardless of what field you choose to pursue in the future. The Cambridge A-Levels programme is designed to equip students with the basic foundation required to further their undergraduate studies. By prepping them with the basic knowledge and skills, students will be well-equipped to undertake future programmes. As our students explore subjects in greater depth, they will be able to develop essential cognitive and critical thinking skills while learning how to apply these acquired skills in real-world situations. The 18-month long programme offers courses in both Science, Arts and Pre-Law. Students are given the choice of selecting their own preferred subjects based on available subject combinations. There will be three intakes annually – January, March and June.
